Little South Africa In The Mountains brings authentic South African flavors to customers across the United States. Based in Craig, Colorado, we specialize in traditional South African favorites including droëwors, boerewors, biltong and other specialty products. Our mission is to provide a taste of home for South Africans abroad while introducing American customers to the rich flavors and traditions of South African cuisine.
Prize Package Contribution:
The winner will receive a delicious South African Favorites Package featuring: Premium Droëwors, Traditional Boerewors, and Authentic South African Biltong, carefully selected and generously donated by Little South Africa in the Mountains.

Official Competition Rules
South African Expat International Day USA People's Choice Competition 2026
The following rules are intended to ensure a fair, fun, and community-focused competition for all participants.
Overview
The South African Expat International Day USA People’s Choice Competition 2026 celebrates South African communities across the United States and showcases how South Africans abroad connect, celebrate, and support one another.
Participating events will be featured through photo galleries on SaffasUS.com. Visitors will be able to browse the event galleries and cast their vote through the official SaffasUS.com online voting form.
The event receiving the most votes will be crowned the South African Expat International Day USA People’s Choice Winner 2026.
In addition, one eligible voter who voted for the winning event will be selected at random to receive a sponsored prize package.
Event Participation
To be included in the competition:
• The event must take place within the United States.
• Photos must be related to South African Expat International Day celebrations.
• Photos must be family-friendly and suitable for public viewing.
• The person submitting photos must have permission to share them.
• SaffasUS.com reserves the right to remove or reject any content deemed inappropriate, offensive, misleading, or unrelated to the event.
Photo Submission
When submitting photos, please include:
• Event name (if applicable).
• City and State.
• Name of organizer or contact person (optional).
By submitting photos, participants confirm they have permission to share the images and that the images may be displayed publicly on SaffasUS.com and SaffasUS.com’s social media channels.
Voting
• Each participating event will have its own photo gallery on SaffasUS.com.
• Voting will take place through an official voting form hosted on SaffasUS.com.
• One vote per person. Duplicate votes may be removed at the discretion of SaffasUS.com.
• Votes must be submitted before the announced closing date.
• The event receiving the highest number of valid votes will be declared the winner.

Prize Draw
One eligible participant who voted for the winning event will be selected at random to receive a sponsored prize package.
Prize details will be announced separately and may vary depending on sponsor participation.
Prize Eligibility
Anyone may vote in the People’s Choice Competition.
However, to be eligible for the prize draw, participants must:
• Be a legal resident of the United States.
• Be 21 years of age or older at the time of entry.
• Follow the SaffasUS.com Facebook page.
• Have voted for the winning event.
Proof of age and residency may be required before a prize is awarded.
SaffasUS.com reserves the right to verify eligibility requirements before awarding any prize. If a selected winner does not meet the eligibility requirements, an alternate winner may be selected.
Sponsored Prize Items
Sponsors are solely responsible for the fulfillment and delivery of donated prizes.
Any alcohol-related prizes will only be awarded to eligible winners who are 21 years of age or older and where permitted by applicable law.
Photo Usage Permission
By submitting photos, participants grant SaffasUS.com permission to:
• Publish submitted photos on SaffasUS.com.
• Share submitted photos on SaffasUS social media channels.
• Use submitted photos in future South African Expat International Day promotional materials.
Ownership of all submitted photos remains with the original photographer.
General Terms
• SaffasUS.com reserves the right to remove duplicate, fraudulent, or suspicious votes at its sole discretion.
• SaffasUS.com reserves the right to amend these rules if necessary.
• Decisions made by SaffasUS.com regarding eligibility, voting, and prize awards are final.
