DESCRIPTION:We figured it’s about time we do this properly.\n\nWe’re putting together a good old-fashioned Bring & Braai here in North Texas (DFW welcome) on May 16th\, and you’re invited. Whether you’ve just landed in Texas last week or you’ve been here long enough to argue about brisket vs. boerewors.\n\nThis is not a formal thing. No tickets. No fuss. Just people\, fires\, food\, and a bit of that familiar chaos that somehow always works out.\n\nWhat to expect:\n–  Fires going (proper braai style\, not just gas)–  You bring your own meat\, drinks\, and whatever you want to throw on the grill–  Bring a chair or blanket–  Families\, kids\, friends. All welcome–  A bit of companion for those missing it\n\nIf you’re new in town\, this is probably the easiest way to meet people.\nIf you’ve been here a while\, come help us show the newcomers how it’s done.\n\nWe are sharing early to get a feel for numbers!!!\n\nIf you’re keen\, save the event and let us know you are coming.\n\nLekker. DESCRIPTION:It’s this time of year again for us to meet up in Danville! \nLike last year\, we have reserved picnic tables that come with double braais at Osage Station Park. This is a great spot near a fantastic playground and field. It is also clean and safe. \nCharcoal \, firelighters\, tongs\, paper plates\, plastic cutlery\, disposable cups\, chips\, etc.. will be provided. \nFor this\, we ask that you pay us $10 per adult to cover the cost of the rental\, etc. \nWhat to bring: Sharp knives to cut meat\, a side or dessert to share with fellow South Africans\, drinks (alcoholic or NA) \, bottled water etc.. See you then!
